What Do We Collect and Why
When you walk with your mobile device (with enabled function such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) in a specified Mobile Customer Connect™ space, our sensors capture information about the device. They are able to sense: the presence of the device, signal strength, its manufacturer (Blackberry, Samsung, Apple etc.), and a MAC address. Every mobile device has a unique identifier called Media Access Control (MAC) address. MAC address does not contain identifiable information about user of that device or disclose any personal data. MAC address is immediately encrypted (“hashed”) to the de-personalized and de-indentified data. This process is not reversible. Collected anonymous points of data are stored at our secured database. All data transfer over the internet is encrypted using SSL for collection and delivery of data. We retain the anonymized data points in our database for a period no longer than 24 months, at which time is deleted.
Mobile Customer Connect™ collects de-personalized and de-identified aggregated data for the purpose of reports for retail clients. These reports are used to optimize time for promotions and sales, store hours, measurements of interest, improving store layouts and in general understanding process of customer behavior.
The only time we would ever collect any personal information would be after the customer specifically registers with our service.

Our clients, based on reports, are able to find answers for intriguing questions such as: How many people visited the retailer this week comparing to the previous week, how long do they stay on average, how many there is new customers, returned or regular, what is the effectiveness of marketing campaign.
To answer all of those questions, there is no need of personal information of any kind.
